The loss of a champion of Asian arts and culture:
It is with heavy hearts that the Alabama Asian Cultures Foundation announces that our founder and long-term Chairman of the Board, Robert (Bob) Sol Davis, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020.
Our Board of Directors wishes Bob’s family comfort during this time of loss. His tireless dedication to the AACF for over 15 years will be missed by all of us who had the privilege to know and work with Bob.
Bob’s passion for the foundation’s mission to educate all Alabamians on the beautiful arts and cultures of the Asian countries will be our inspiration for years to come. We will truly miss you, Bob.
